HELLO AND WELCOME

I’m Alyssa. I am a photographer and you could call me, a wandering artist. This is my creative space to reflect, document and share with you what inspires me.

I moved to Winnipeg from Vancouver, BC in 2018. I live with with my husband and our silly cats, Asher and Aria.

A few of my favourite things: baking bread and anything with chocolate, reading, watercolour, Jesus, golden light, collecting succulents, photography, thrifting, tea, mountains and ocean.

On this blog, you can find me sharing about my creative ventures, thoughts in the faith and culture realm, favourite recipes and daily life.

Why Looseleaf Artist? It’s a title that reminds me I am an artist and I don’t have it all figured out. I often find myself wandering and asking ‘who am I?’

Looseleaf Artist is a space to share my inspirations, creations and thoughts as I process them, as if on loose leaf paper – perhaps incomplete and with questions, but wholeheartedly embracing the journey. I invite you to follow along.
